Maurice Spillane, Chief Executive

Maurice Spillane has been at the forefront of the software applications business for over twenty years. A qualified accountant with an IT background, he has managed businesses large and small, and has previously been involved in taking software companies from start-up to acquisition. Maurice has won the annual Marketing Award from the Computer Services Association and the American Express Marketing Award. Maurice had the vision to believe that the engineering approaches seen in manufacturing physical objects could be applied to software, and the technical skills to translate the dream into reality. He has played a key role in the development of the Designer and Generator methodology and product set since the outset.

Fintan Kelly, Head of Research & Development

Fintan Kelly has been at the forefront of innovative development concepts for many years. He was Development Manager at Implementors Limited (a CASE tool company), MSA/Dun & Bradstreet Fintan has been a key figure in the development of the Appligenics Designer and Generator technology, and continues to lead the R&D and technical support organizations.

Alan Watkins, Director

Alan is a seasoned Chairman and Senior Executive, who has over 30 years experience within the IT industry. Currently, he is Chairman of Blackhawk Capital, a Private Equity vehicle that focuses on undervalued assets. He sits on the Board of Blackhawk’s portfolio companies including Teksys, which has recently been sold to Dimension Data plc. He also sits on the Board of Appligenics, a Software Generation Company. Previously Alan held senior positions within the TMT sector, and was most notably the Founder and Managing Director of Cisco Systems Ltd, Cisco UK subsidiary. During this time he grew the operation from a standing start to over £300 million of revenue.
